Canadian teen sensation Justin Bieber joined the cast of Saturday Night Live on Saturday serving double-duty as the show's host and musical guest.

"Here we go!!" Bieber tweeted before taking the stage for his opening monologue, which had him handing out Valentine's Day roses while telling mostly inaccurate and entirely fictional Black History Month facts.

The 18-year-old singer performed in a handful of skits, including a self-deprecating sketch with about a dozen Bieber look-a-likes including several females.

"These decoys are never going to work," Bieber, donning a black hoodie, said. He was quickly told by an SNL cast member that it was understood Bieber never said never, referencing his 2011 documentary movie Justin Bieber: Never Say Never.

Bieber also performed two musical numbers. In the first half of the show he sang As Long As You Love Me while accompanied by a guitar. He sang Nothing Like Us with piano in the background near the end of the broadcast.

Scores of fans braved the snow storm in New York City the night before Bieber's performance, hoping to snag tickets to the live show.

"[E]veryone outside be safe. enjoy the pizza," tweeted Bieber, who ordered pizza for his loyal fans.

The young singer recently made headlines when he became the youngest artist to rack up five No. 1 albums earlier this week. Bieber's Believe Acoustic topped the Billboard 200 album chart during its first week of release, according to figures released by Nielsen SoundScan on Wednesday.

In January, Bieber became the most followed person on Twitter, edging out Lady Gaga, w! ho formerly held the title. Bieber has more than 34 million followers, while Gaga is about 56,000 followers short of 34 million.
