The singer tweeted Thursday, "been writing alot...new stuff...and yeah. the acoustic album, new arrangements, is happening... #withdankanter."

For those not in the know, Dan Kanter is that long-haired dude who accompanies the Biebs on the acoustic guitar during the quiet and soulful moments of his blockbuster shows. He's also Canadian. Bieber also has a hype man in The Wanted's Nathan Sykes, who tweeted, "@justinbieber yeah man. People ain't gonna know what to think when they hear the new tunes #nextlevel see ya later bro."
