The Biebs handed out smooches (on the cheek only) to a few lucky gals in the crowd and all of them tried to capture the crazy moment on their cell phone. We're sure they wanted the photographic evidence to back up this stroke of great luck! After the smooch session, the star went to the Tribeca Disruptive Innovation Awards presentation.

Bieber showed off new skull earrings and a poufy hairdo for the event. He no longer wears his mop in his face (that was so 2010), and instead wore his growing main gelled back with some serious volume. Perhaps he was looking to appear a little taller on camera this weekend. Who knows. Whatever the case may be, none of the screaming girls outside the venue seemed to care what his hair looked like. Of course.
