Justin Bieber is working up a reputation as the music industry's biggest tease. Though the 18-year-old pop phenom finally announced a release date for his upcoming album Believe (June 19), he's still withholding the music video for his new single "Boyfriend," instead releasing it in snippets that get his mostly teenage fanbase all riled up. We won't be surprised if the dude holds a red carpet premiere for its debut, whenever that finally happens.

Also in music news, Nicki Minaj still hasn't returned to Twitter, Kanye West does not consider Kim Kardashian "his Beyonc" (HAHAHAHA), and Janet Jackson's infamous "wardrobe" malfunction is still making headlines eight years after the fact. Behold, the power of pasties.

Justin Bieber was a special guest on Tuesday's episode of The Voice, revealing 45 seconds of the music video for his new single "Boyfriend" and officially announcing his new album Believe's June 19 release date.

From the looks of it, the "Boyfriend" music video is all about showcasing Bieber's burgeoning maturity, with a cool, pared-down feel and a couple of nods to Bieber's personal hero, Michael Jackson. Younger fans are likely to feel uncomfortable with Justin's proximity to some hot female who is not Selena Gomez, and to get all mushy inside when the camera closes in on Justin promising to treat his potential girlfriend to fondue by the fire (there is now going to be an entire generation of people who think fondue by the fire is an integral part of the dating experience).

Bieber also agreed to perform "Boyfriend" live for the first time on The Voice's finale in three weeks. Hopefully by then Christina Aguilera will have learned not to make a stank face when he hugs her.

It's been three days and Nicki Minaj still hasn't returned to Twitter. Her beloved "Barbz" are getting all flustered:not pay any attention to these b**ches, you so cool, open another account please, I miss you,

Anyone who disses Nicki Minaj is full of shit! I miss you Nicki, come back to twitter :(

(Getty) Kanye West spoke directly to Us Weekly to set the record straight on one of their more ridiculous stories to date: He's never considered his rumored partner in publicity girlfriend Kim Kardashian "his Beyonc."

"Of course there are a lot of media inaccuracies surrounding this past couple of weeks, especially the 'She's my Beyonc' quote. I would never compare anyone to my friend's wife," Ye insisted. "Come on now, that doesn't even sound like me. If I don't say something in a rap or on Twitter, it's not true."

Madonna may smoke in her latest music video, but she's not down with her 15-year-old daughter smoking. She told Rock Center's Harry Smith of parenting a teenager, "I think I need to be maybe tougher. It's hard -- every day is a negotiation. But cigarette smoking I'm not very fond of -- for anyone."
