Justin Bieber is still busy jet-setting around Europe for his Believe World Tour. But no matter what hectic schedule he was dealing with at the time, he still had to take a pause on Monday when he heard about the death of one of his biggest fans, 11-year-old Briana Tejada.

"just got news about little Briana. I was honored to meet her. I know she is up in heaven smiling. #ripBriana #love" Bieber tweeted, along with a photo of the day he met the young girl, who had leukemia.

Briana was diagnosed with leukemia in 2010 when she was 9 years old. The disease returned three times between then and 2012, when her mother started the Justin for Briana social media campaign to bring Briana face-to-face with her idol. Her dream to meet him came true on Jan. 19 of this year.

Briana's family responded to Bieber's message: Thank you Justin. Ou! r family and specially us parents are very grateful. #ripBriana #love #justinforbriana

Bieber then replied again, saying, meant what i said. she is smiling down from heaven. :)

The 19-year-old singer has been in Paris since Sunday, enjoying a little vacation time before hitting the stage again on Tuesday night. He got right to sightseeing, marking off the Arc de Triomphe, the Eiffel Tower, and the legendary Moulin Rouge. Reports say that Bieber and 23 friends hit up the famous Montmartre nightclub on Monday night, though it was unexpectedly tame. Bieber didnt drink and left at a reasonable 10:30 p.m.

fun night. #bucketlist #PARIS he tweeted.

After an initial speed bump at his hotel (though Bieber's reps denied any problems), the pop star's Paris trip seems to have turned around. According to his Twitter feed, Bieber and his family are all enjoying their time in the City of Lights, and he even promised to try out his French for all his Parisian Beliebers.

Of course, he's probably seen his ex-girlfriend Selena Gomez throw some shade his way this week with David Letterman. Bieber, on the other hand, is apparently switching out her name in his songs with "Beliebers."

It seems like France is truly belle for Bieber.
