Justin Bieber Buys Best Buddy a Car for Christmas [PHOTOS]

Justin Bieber seems to have caught the Christmas spirit of giving this year as he gave his best friend Ryan Butler a convertible Mustang on Sunday.

" Justin got me a present. #swag," Butler tweeted along with a picture of his brand-new two-door ivory convertible Mustang.

Justin spent Christmas at home in Canada with his family and friends. " Spending time with family feels really really good. Going to get to see these smiles at Christmas," he tweeted along with this picture of his two younger siblings:

Bieber will be in New York City on New Year's Eve performing alongside Lady Gaga at New YorkCity's Times Square for "Dick Clarks New Year's Rockin Eve with Ryan Seacrest 2012."

The much-anticipated performance will take place in front of 1 million people just before the ball drops on Dec.31st. It will be the 40thanniversary of the city's celebrations and broadcast live on ABC.

Justin Bieber's " Under the Mistletoe," released on Nov. 1 debuted at #1 on the! Billboar d200 albums chart selling 210,293 units in its first week. The album is Bieber's third album to make it to #1 spot in the past 18 months.

"It hardly seems possible that we began telecasting, New Year's Rockin Eve 40 years ago. Armed with just a couple of cameras and a skeleton crew, my wife and I stood atop a Times Square building and watched the thousands of happy celebrants in Times Square," Dick Clark said in a statement. " The army of talent we had join us over the years has truly been outstanding, and this year we top it off with an appearance by Justin Bieber and Lady Gaga."
