Students at Whitney Elementary School in Las Vegas can cross one major item off their Christmas lists.

On Friday, Justin Bieber performed a private concert for the students and gave them a truckload of toys, according to the Associated Press.

This isnt the first time Whitney Elementary has been in the spotlight. In September, it was featured on The Ellen Degeneres Show for providing needy families with money, clothes, food, and other essentials they might need, USA Today reports.

During that episode, Target announced a $100,000 donation to the school, which Bieber agreed to match on Friday.

According to the AP, students were over the moon about Biebers appearance.

He really came for us. Im so glad that he really came for us, fourth-grader Kynedi Harris said.

Fifth-grader Jolie Leach, who said she was gonna explode with excitement when Bieber performed, revealed she would never wash her hand after Bieber gave her a high-five.

Bieber proved to be a highlight in the lives of students, many of whom struggle financially.

The school has one of the highest homeless student populations in the Clark County School District.

Principal Sherrie Gahn told the AP that more than 85 percent of the schools students receive free or reduced-price lunch.

The concert was filmed for an episode of The Ellen Degeneres Show airing on Jan. 4.

Gahn acknowledged the significance of Bieber and Ellen Degeneress aid to the students.

In a world where these kids live in that things are not always! their o wn or theyre taken away, they gave them memories that no one can ever take, she said.

The money donated by Bieber and Target will allow the school to continue providing for families in order to keep them off the streets and students coming to class.
