Justin Bieber mourns death of '6-yr-old wife'

Melbourne, Sept 27 (ANI): Justin Bieber has offered his condolences to a six-year-old girl, who called herself Mrs Justin Bieber, after she died from a rare brain cancer.

The 18-year-old singer took to his Twitter account to mourn the loss of Avalanna Routh.

"Just got the worst news ever. one of the greatest spirits i have ever known is gone. please pray for her family and for her. RIP Avalanna. i love you," News.com.au quoted him, as tweeting.

The family of Routh had earlier written on their Twitter account, "Oh Avalanna, the brightest star - you took our hearts with you, our greatest Love."

Routh was reportedly so much in love with teen pop-star Bieber that physicians and nurses at a Boston hospital had organised a pretend wedding between her and the 'Baby' hit-maker.

During the wedding, Routh held a yellow, green and purple bouquet of flowers and wore a T-shirt that said "Future Mrs Bieber" and stood next to the Bieber's portrait under a banner that declared them "Just Married," which sparked a social media campaign to help her meet the singer.

Later Bieber had arranged for the girl to meet him in New York, where he spent a couple of hours with her, before tweeting that the experience was inspiring and the best thing he had ever done.

"... she was AWESOME! Feeling really inspired now! #MrsBieber," he tweeted.

Routh was suffering from an atypical teratoid rhabdoid tumour, a fast-growing tumour of the brain and spinal cord that normally occurs in young kids. (ANI)
