Justin Bieber sparks controversy by posing with fake gun

Justin Bieber is one of the most closely watched celebrities in the world and he certainly makes it easy when he posts everything on Twitter. A new photo posted on Twitter has sparked particular controversy, as it features Beiber holding a fake gun.

E! News reports that the photo was posted on a Twitter account devoted to his girlfriend, Selena Gomez, called @HechosSMGomez. In it, Gomez is caught in a cute post with her father, while Bieber stands at her fathers other side, staring seriously into the camera and pointing a fake gun at him. The picture was taken at the set of Gomezs latest film, Feed The Dog.

Some on the Internet have called the photo irresponsible, particularly Hollywood Life, which said it was bad taste to make light of guns a month after the Aurora, Colorado shootings and other shootings since then.

Bieber, who has 27 million Twitter followers on his own account, and his reps have not commented on the photo.

On his own page, Bieber tweeted an image of his new tattoo on his chest and continues to tell his fans to vote for him for the MTV Video Music Awards, which are held on Thursday. He is up for Best Pop! Video for Boyfriend.

TMZ is also reporting that he was at the center of a car crash, in which two paparazzi crashed when they tried to get photos of the singer getting pulled over by a cop.
