Selena Gomez recently announced her second annual charity concert for UNICEF. The 19-year-old singer and actress has been a UNICEF Ambassador since 2009 and considers her charity work to be a very important part of her life. "Giving back has always been important to me," she wrote on her website. "This concert allows me to connect with my fans in person which is one of the best parts of my job and to raise money for important causes at the same time. I can't think of anything I would enjoy doing more."

Justin Bieber is also very active in various charitable causes. During the 2011 holiday season, Bieber performed a charity fund-raising concert in Toronto that raised $500,000 for the Children's Wish Foundation (the Canadian version of the Make a Wish Foundation). Justin also took the time to meet and hang out with three young fans who had all been diagnosed with life-threatening illnesses. While in Toronto, the singer also donated his time to the Daily Bread Food Bank. He sai! d the ca use is important to him because his mother used to use a food bank when he was a child.

It's so great to see the young couple using their celebrity for good causes. Kudos to you, Justin Bieber and Selena Gomez!
