Justin Bieber Gearing Up to Release Hip-Hop Heavy New album

According to singer/producer Mike Posner, Justin Biebers new album Believe will feature more of a hip-hop sound. After working with the pop phenom on the albums first single "Boyfriend," Posner assures listeners that they are in for a "new Bieber." He sat down with Hot 97.5 host Bootleg Kev to discuss the 18-year-olds urban transition, a la Justin Timberlake in the early 2000s.

I have Biebers new single, I wrote and produced that with him. And wait til you hear the beat, youll flip, youll want to play this song its super hip-hop, Posner said. He raps like a little eight bars, and then starts singing crazy right after it, and it sounds amazing.

Perhaps Bieber fans should have expected a change on the rise when he tweeted that he was in the studio with Lil Wayne last month: "Good time in the studio last night. back at it tonight. oh yeahand big bro came thru and when i say big bro i mean @LilTunechi. #BELIEVE IT." Could this mean that Wayne finally gave in to the feature Biebs had been dying for?

Posner insists, if you hadn't been a fan of Justin Bieber before, you may find yourself bumping his tracks pretty soon. "That was our whole goal was making something that was hater proof, he said. Biebers new single "Boyfriend" is set to drop on March 26. His upcoming album will feature Timbaland, Pharrell, Drake, Diplo, and Hit-Boy.
