Justin Biebers not the only one in his family with the writing bug. The pop superstar and upcoming host of MTVs Punkd reboot is releasing his second book later this year, but it looks like JBiebs is going to have a little friendly competition in the book stores his mom. According to Access Hollywood, Justin Biebers mother, Pattie Mallette, has just inked herself a book deal.
Revell Books confirms that the pop superstars mom has agreed to pen a memoir entitled, Nowhere But Up: The Story of Justin Biebers Mom.
But what will the book be aboutaside from the obvious?
In a statement released by the publisher on Tuesday (March 7), it was announced that Mallettes book, written in collaboration with A.J. Gregory, will share details of the trauma, a! buse, an d addiction she dealt with as a child and into her young adult years, leading to a suicide attempt at age 17; a year before she gave birth to her son.
Nowhere But Up: The Story of Justin Biebers Mom is scheduled for release on September 18, 2012; the same month that Justins book, Justin Bieber: Just Getting Started, will hit stores.
Punkd premieres Thursday, March 29 at 10|9c on MTV.
