Justin Bieber really does have the most devoted fans in the world.

Earlier this week, the Canadian pop phenom released his much-anticipated album Believe, a slick production that showcases the singer's burgeoning maturity vocally and otherwise. The album is basically guaranteed to take the top spot on the Billboard 200 for the week of June 19, but some particularly ardent Beliebers have mobilized to ensure Bieber has the highest possible saleswhile giving back to the community, naturally.

A number of Bieber's enterprising fans have organized buyouts to celebrate Believe's release, planning city-wide meet-ups in which fans gather to buy as many copies of Justin's album as possible. As most fans at Bieber buyouts have already owned the album since the very second it hit iTunes, many of the albums purchased are then donated to children's hospitals.

Don't Miss:

Jackie Augustus, organizer of the New York City buyout and founder of the Bieber Army (more than 520K strong on Twitter), drew several dozen teenage girls to the Chelsea Best Buy on Wednesday afternoon despite miserable heat. Some of the attendees had already spent hours waiting for Justin to appear outside a taping for BET's 106 & Park, and before that, Late Night with David Letterman).

"We're just all coming out to support the album and hopefully buy all the albums off the shelf, and help it to go number one," Augustus explained. There were vague hopes that Bieber would show in the fleshhe crashed a buyout for My World, oncebut as Augustus noted, "We all came out here to support, not like, in hopes of seeing him. That's just a reward that would come out of it."

in the end, the pop superstar ended up taking the afternoon off to hang out with family. Bieber's team did not leave fans disappointed, however: Scooter Braun, Justin's manager, and Brad Haugen, CMO at Scooter Braun Projects, showed up and hung out with the all-female crowd, snapping photos and even purchasing some copies of Believe themselves.
