Justin Bieber Sells Out Concert Tour in Under One Hour, Why is He So Popular?

In what is continuing to be a surprising, and successful career, Justin Bieber sold out his Madison Square Garden concert in 30 seconds. If that seems incredible, he also sold out his entire North American Believe Tour in under one hour. Despite a lot of criticism pointed at the young star, his fans remain intensely loyal and this is just more proof that he is one of the most popular stars on the planet.

What is it about Bieber that makes him so successful?

Collaborations

Justin Bieber is not just resting on his laurels when it comes to his musical career. So many child stars shine bright and then just fade away when they grow up and no longer fit the image that was built for them. Very few young stars remain a huge draw in later years, with Britney Spears and Justin Timberlake as examples of those who actually made it. One thing both of those stars did was work with other talented individuals and adapted their style for a new generation.

Bieber is doing the same. There is probably nothing more important when it comes to Bieber becoming a serious musical sensation than his collaborations with musicians like Kanye West. When Bieber was working on "Believe," he was doing it alongside West, a talent who knows what it takes to be a star.

The most important thing for Bieber, if he wants to maintain his career into adulthood, is to listen to men like West and it seems that is the direction he is headed.

Selena Gomez

When Bieber and actress/musician Selena Gomez began dating, Gomez received numerous crazy threats from Bieber's pre-teen fanbase. However, as time goes on, those threats have disappeared and the two have become one of celebrity's hottest couples. While their relationship has been the source of many rumors, the tw o remain together.

What this does for Bieber is increase his already enormous fanbase, bringing in Gomez's fans as well, which is growing by the day. Despite recent altercations with the paparazzi, Bieber and Gomez remain one of celebrity's cleanest couples and that only adds to his allure.

Cross Promotion

The one group of people that seem to dismiss Bieber the most are adult males. While he may never win over the majority of men over his career, Bieber has done what he can to prove that he is just a regular guy, the biggest obstacle to hurdle for acceptance in this demographic.

He played in the 2011 NBA All-Star Celebrity game and has been accepted by a number of professional basketball players. He even won the MVP for his performance in the game, scoring eight points. Before his altercation with the paparazzi recently, he was training with Mike Tyson. Add in appearances on shows like "Punk'd" and you can see how hard he is trying to cross over and win over some of the male demographic.

Whether he ever wins over the guys or not, Bieber remains one of the world's hottest talents. Selling out an entire concert tour in under an hour is the only proof you need.
