Jepsen has a ball at Bieber gigs

Carly Rae Jepsen has said supporting Justin Bieber on tour allows her to live out her dream every night.

The Good Time singer is Justin's special guest at his US concerts - and she revealed warming up his enthusiastic fans is not difficult.

Carly Rae told a Facebook Live chat: "The audience is very enthusiastic in the best way, you kind of walk into the stadium feeling their energy and wanting to be a part of it.

"I get to live out my dream and wear ridiculous clothes and have lights and perform Kiss, which is a really fun album to perform. Writing those songs was one thing, but singing them is just a total ball."

Carly Rae's career received a huge boost when Justin tweeted about her song Call Me Maybe.

She recalled hearing about Justin's tweet: "I got a really hysterical slash excited phone call from my sister Katie. I think I was just chilling at home in Vancouver, and all I could hear her say was, 'Aaah Justin Bieber, your song'. I was like, 'Katie, calm down, try to speak English'.

"Eventually I got it out from her that Justin had tweeted about the song and I was pretty sure she had the wrong Justin Bieber, there's a lot of fake Justins out there..."

She added: "It was just one of those lucky, fortunate moments."
