According to a rumor which circulated online today, international singing sensation Justin Bieber has been diagnosed with cancer. Apparently, it was not true. However, some gullible fans of the pop star believed it was otherwise, prompting them to shave their heads to show their support for their idol.
The rumor was reportedly started by members of the popular imageboard 4Chan. The pranksters posted a screen capture of a purported tweet from Entertainment Weekly which says, "Pop star Justin Bieber was diagnosed with cancer earlier this morning. Bieber fans are shaving their heads to show support."
A website called Bald For Bieber was also made, asking "Beliebers" to have their heads shaved to support the singer in his struggle.
