Justin Bieber addresses baby mama drama on 'Today' show

Justin Bieber visited the "Today" show on Friday and denied claims made by Mariah Yeater that he fathered her 3-month-old baby boy.

"I would just like to say that none of those allegations are true," Bieber said on "Today" on Friday. "I know I'm going to be a target, but I'm never going to be a victim. It's crazy, every night after the show I've gone right from the stage right to my car, so it's crazy some people want to make up such fal! se alleg ations. But to set the record straight, none of it is true."

When Matt Lauer asked the pop star if he knew Yeater, he said, "I've never met the woman."

According to Star Magazine, the woman, identified by the tabloid as 20-year-old Mariah Yeater, filed a lawsuit against Bieber, demanding that he take a paternity test. She also wants him "to provide adequate support" for her baby.

Yeater said she got pregnant after having sex with the 17-year-old singer backstage at a Los Angeles concert on October 25, 2010.

The tabloid reports that Yeater wrote in a hand-signed affidavit that she was 19 years old at the time of the alleged encounter. She said one of Bieber's security guards approached her and asked if she wanted to meet the pop star backstage.

The Los Angeles Police Department told the Associated Press on Thursday that if the incident is brought to their attention, they will investigate possible statutory rape charges against Yeater, since Bieber was 16 at the time. The age of consent in California is 18.

"Justin's new spikey hair is a good look on him! He looks more mature," Yeater Tweeted of Bieber on November 3.

Bieber has been romantically linked to 19-year-old pop star Selena Gomez since December 2010, two months after the alleged incident with Yeater.

Yeater claimed that she and Bieber "were mutually attracted to one another" and that he asked her to go to a private place so that they could be alone.

"I agreed to go with him and on the walk to a private area, he told me he wanted to make love to me and this was going to be his first time," she reportedly wrote.

Beiber's representatives denied the allegations.

"W! hile we haven't yet seen the lawsuit, it's sad that someone would fabricate malicious, defamatory and demonstrably false claims. We will vigorously pursue all available legal remedies to defend and protect Justin against these allegations," his publicist said in a statement obtained by OnTheRedCarpet.com.

Bieber addressed the rumors on his Twitter page on Wednesday morning, writing, "all the rumors...the gossip....I'm gonna focus on the positives....the music."

The Canadian singer released his new Christmas album, "Under the Mistletoe" on Tuesday, November 1. Proceeds from the album will go to Bieber's Believe Charity Campaign, which gives to numerous charities including the Make a Wish foundation, the Boys and Girls Clubs, City of Hope, Project Medishare, Musicians on Call, Pencils of Promise and the Grammy Foundation.

Meanwhile, Yeater has been on a Twitter rampage, seeking (and surpassing) 10,000 followers, asking for a free Chevy Volt and addressing some Justin Bieber fan death threats.

"Dear haters thanks for making me famous and keep the mean tweets coming so my name gets out there even more!!" Yeater wrote on Twitter on November 3.
