But a lot's happened to these two since we first released our list of the 100 Hottest Couples of 2011 list. And here's the latest.

After a series of text messages poured buckets of cold water on Mariah Yeater's heated baby daddy claims, it's begun to look like Bieber won't have to worry so much anymore.

Of course, even if the entire story was fabricated, the press attention and drama could not have been fun to live through -- particularly for Selena Gomez. She went on the Ellen DeGeneres Show to address the issue, and told the host that she's been coping well with the drama.

Still, according to Extra, Bieber will go through with the paternity test, despite the dropped lawsuit and the text messaging incident. "He's ready to take a paternity test, at any moment. We have one scheduled for tomorrow," Bieber's manager, Scooter Braun said.
