Justin Bieber Allegedly Assaults Paparazzo; 'Boyfriend' Singer Under Investigation For Criminal Battery
Justin Bieber is currently under investigation for criminal misdemeanor battery in Los Angeles County. The "Boyfriend" singer reportedly got into a scuffle with a paparazzo on Sunday, after the photographer repeatedly snapped pictures of the Biebs exiting a movie theater at the Commons at Calabasas mall.
Detectives from the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department are investigating a photographer's claims that Justin Bieber assaulted him, according to the Los Angeles Times.
TMZ reported several witnesses at the scene said the photog had been blocking Bieber's car as the singer was trying to leave the movie theater.
Bieber, 18, eventually exited the vehicle before allegedly engaging in a physical altercation with the paparazzo.
The male accusing Bieber of battery phoned authorities soon after the incident, but Bieber, who was with girlfriend Selena Gomez at the time, had already left the scene before police arrived. Subsequently, the photographer filed a police report naming Bieber as his assailant.
