Justin Bieber And Selena Gomez Are Business Casual Cuties In 'Forbes'

Holy power couples! Justin Bieber and Selena Gomez may have the world under their glitter magic teen pop spell, but don't let their button noses fool you. Biebs and Sel are savvy business giants and have each landed features in Forbes magazine's celebrity issue. Bieber receives top honors as #3 on the mag's Celebrity 100 list (just below Jennifer Lopez and Oprah) AND the issue's cover boy, while Sel gets her own story, lauding her as one of the latest major celebrity entrepreneurs. These two are always cropping up on our radar, working hard on their next project. Whether it's music or movies or fashion or fragrances, we're acutely aware of how eyeballs-deep they are in the business of it all. Or at least, we thought we were. Bieber in the boardroom or Selena talking "value proposition" are just not things we've ever pictured before, but after s! eeing th ese teenagers in office-ready business casual, it's all starting to gel.

Call it age-ist or prejudice against babies or whatever, but Bieber and Selena, with their laidback personal styles and their little squishy cheeks and their constantly smelling of baby powder (okay, I made that up), coax me into visions of them tumbling around at recess in puppydog tees and covered in grass stains. But IRL, they're meeting producers and manufacturers, signing over angel investment deals, and endorsing hopeful start-up companies. While they may not actually wear Prince of Wales check suits or tattersall button-ups or Michelle Obama-worthy shift dresses while they do it, seeing them in these ensembles does help to remind me just how mature they really are.
