Justin Bieber, Flo Rida, Lady Antebellum, Hall & Oats Set To Perform On The Voice Finale
Justin Bieber, the charismatic pop star from Canada, is making a trip to Hollywood soon. And he's not making the trip alone. Justin Bieber, Flo Rida, Lady Antebellum and Hall & Oates are scheduled to play on the May 8th finale of NBC's hit talent show, The Voice.
Justin Bieber has promised to perform his latest single, "Boyfriend," at the show's finale. The young crooner recently premiered a short clip of his video to The Voice audience. The new video is much more risqu than anything Justin Bieber has ever released before.
The video for "Boyfriend" opens with several shots of ice melting, a young woman playing with her hair and Bieber staring straight into the camera seductively. Silhouettes of Bieber standing, snapping accompany other moments of him whispering into the young women's ear. "If I was your boyfriend, I'd never let you go," sings Bieber. "I can take you places you ain't never been before."
The short video preview hit a high note when Justin Bieber begins to sing the bridge of the song. Several hands reach up from below him, tugging at his jacket, shirt and head. Bieber plays it cool and keeps singing. The shot quickly pans to Bieber playing guitar, where he then sings the chorus of the song.
Bieber told The Voice fans that his record "Believe" would be coming out June 19 after previewing his video. He assured fans that this was the final deadline and that he would not change the date. Bieber also joked briefly about forming a supergroup with Adam Levine, one of the judges in the show. Levine later revealed that they weren't starting a supergroup and that it was just a joke.
Aside from the younger superstar making the world premier of his new single, several other superstars will take the stage and try to send the season off on a high note. Rap star Flo Rida is scheduled to perform his new hit "Wild Ones" and one song that has yet to be determined. In addition, Lady Antebellum will be singing "Wanted You More" from her latest album Own the Night. Finally, Daryl Hall and John Oates, the number-one selling duo in American music history, will perform their very first hit single "Rich Girl."
